staples adventure
staples, you jerks! i thought i was set. for the rest of my college life.but no, you had to set restrictions. whyyyy staples, why????
WHYYYYYY
so today i went to staples to get a lab book. i found it, and some neat folders too. and then this lady told me that with a minimum purchase of $5, i could get composition notebooks for 10 cents each. "YAY!", I thought. "This is super exciting! I love composition notebooks!"
so i picked up a few...and a few turned into ten...and ten turned into 15...and well what's another 50 cents, i thought, so 15 turned into 20. i decided 20 was quite enough to get me through the rest of my undergraduate career.
"wow...i'll never have to buy comp notebooks again, ever!!!"
and so i carried my loot up to the register, and waited in the kinda long line,super happy and starting to get very hot because apparently 20 notebooks are heavy, and it was a mini workout to hold onto them for so long.
and then the lady tells me that i can only get 3 for the special price...
oh well...it was worth a shot.
so i picked up 3.
and a cat, apparently.

This was the best picture story ever! Staples always ends up annoying me because the people who work there never seem to know anything. About anything.
That stinks. I can understand why they'd have a limit like that though.

@Megan@revelife - haha thanks! and thanks for the rec! yeah they really don't...the guy who helped me find my lab book, he was actually showing me something beside my lab book, and then i saw the book itself.

HAHA. That was great. That sucks about the notebooks though.
They give cats out now in Staples for buy notebooks?! *runs out*
I try and avoid Staples over here as they tend to be expensive!

@pipergymnast11 - hah yeah..it was rather dissapointing. BUT i left the rest of the books up there at the register, now they have a lot of notebooks to put away

LOL I usually love Staples! I have this weird thing for school and office supplies. I really like getting them. I don't know why.
