The whole April Fools thing has gotten super serious. The other night I was talking to a friend and she told me that do to all of the instability in the middle east and the earthquake that hit Japan and just how the world was in such chaos that the price of gas would be going up by over 30 cents a liter. (like 1.13 a gallon) over night. I didn't believe her at all but then she sent me an article that was from a microsoft news site. After reading the article it seemed totally real and I never questioned it as it was from a reliable news source.
At the bottom of the page there was a link that said something like "click here to see the gas prices in your area." I clicked there and it said April Fools. It was also March 31 so they were fooling people a day early. I just think that's a little silly because a lot of people might not have gone to the very bottom and believed it ! It really is amazing how many of these April Fools jokes over the years work so well...... they certainly are memorable.
Luckily you just had a dream and didn't have to find that out in real life. Imagine if you weren't feeling well so you go to the doctor and the doctor tells you "you are pregnant." And after discussing things with you, five minutes later he/she goes "April Fools !" That would be something ! Anyways feel free to drop by and leave a comment on my site if you like.
