I had this dream, it was rather strange. We were all hanging out at this basketball place, and Terry Bradshaw, among others, was trying to get the ball in the hoop shooting backwards. And I was just watching this whole thing, sitting on a tempurpedic cushion. It was pretty comfortable.

And then I was out eating with my friends and family, and some people from the church I used to attend came by. They had just finished camp training and were going out to eat. It made me really miss being a camp counselor. And then I woke up and I still missed it. I think they are at camp right now in fact, so it won’t happen this year. But I should do it again next year.

so, i’ve been taking a lot of photos of food lately. and i figured i may as well make a blog of it.

breakfast:

i love cooking an egg until the yolk is mostly solid but not quiet. if it’s too runny it’s too hard to eat, but if it’s not just a little runny it doesn’t taste nearly as good. and i like the deep yellow color of the not quite cooked yolk so..the second breakfast photo was pretty great . and ten points for using “second breakfast”.

snack:
this one is interesting, it’s shaved ice with…toppings. i don’t really know what else to call them. the toppings can be mango flavored, strawberry flavored, little rice ball thingies, etc. then they put condensed milk on it. it was pretty different, but i enjoyed it.

so last night i had the most delicious dinner. i had chicken florentine with salad. i can’t believe i’ve never had that dish before.

now, i am by no means cutting back on caffeine. i have nothing against that stuff. but i am trying to be healthier about the way i get my caffeine

this probably means i’ll be drinking a lot more coffee and tea this week…

although really, i am already down to just one coke a day. i used to have more like two or three a day . so i’ve slowly been cutting back. anyway, we’ll see how this goes!

Today was a good Easter.

Made it to church, then came home and had a nice dinner.
