  • bike adventure!

i had a bike adventure on my way home today! i listenend to my pirates of the carbbean soundtrack the whole time to make things even more exciting :o

    first i found a tree…so i climbed it!

that one was a bit scary to take because i had no hands on the tree :o

    then i found a waterfall!

and then i decided to start actually biking again…hah

some of the photos look odd because i could not get them off my cell phone, so i took a picture with my camera of the display on my phone lol.

  • i had a dream last night i was preggers! :o

my dream played an april fools on me!

  • so this week has been totally exhausting. work full time in the day and study full time and night! coaching has been lots of fun though. the nice thing about spring break is that it is only a week, so there isn’t really enough time for the kids to drive you nuts. it’s all of the good about summer camp and only a small bit of the bad!
sadly, though, i have not had a chance to catch up on my sleep. i guess tomorrow night i can sleep easy after my GRE, right?

    wrong!

i have a whole lot of homework that needs to get done next week soooo ya know. no rest for me.
at least the semester is kind of almost over.kind of.

at least i am grateful that i scheduled my exam for the afternoon rather than early morning. that would have been a disastrous ending to a rough week.

also, my poor kitty puts up with so much from me while i am studying and bored and bored of studying.

  • the lamest thing

is internet drama with real life friends.

    seriously.

  • happy st. patties day!

  • so, about this whole lack of updating thing…well, the past few weeks have felt like this:

so you know…maybe when i overcome that feeling i will post more :P

  • snow day photo blog!

so it was kind of a crazy week.the weather got me out of 4 days of school, which has never happened before. probably never will.

    first, it iced!

and, well, i thought that was pretty neat. i mean, wow! ice! how weird!

it was a nice break from school. i got to catch up on playing some pokemon on my gameboy, and i got to study. in fact, the ice postponed an exam for me until next week :D . so the ice was pretty super.and i thought that was going to be all there was to it. i mean, ice in and of itself is rare and kind of special.

but then it snowed! and it snowed a lot!

and the snow was much more exciting, and much more fun! i know that for all you people up north, it’s no big deal. but for us it is! anyway, it was pretty exciting for most of us. some of us even thought it was delicious.

my brother is so goofy :P

  • What’s your favorite word?

hydroxyquinolinolato is probably number one, or close to it.

    hydroxyquinolinolato:

also, decant is a fun word. not so fun in practice but fun to say. one of my favorite things to say in lab is “i can’t decant!”

I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!

  • hello xanga!

school is finally starting to pick up, just a little bit. i was enjoying the slow start but i think if this slow business went on for too long my brain would turn into mush.

so far this semster doesn’t look bad. only two of my classes have tests and according to the schedule, the exams will always be a couple of weeks apart. so no same week/same day tests, yay!

i still haven’t started my research yet, probably will be starting that soon though. and my job at school hasn’t started yet either, so the past couple weeks really have been super easy. my first test is a week from tuesday though so i guess i should start studying.

p chem 2 is much better than p chem 1. but then, just about everything is better than thermo, which is mostly what p chem 1 is about. p chem 2 seems like a lot of calculus and differential equations. i never took diff eq, but it looks kinda neat.

i am scheduled for my GRE finally. now i just need to decide if i am going to attempt the subject test also, or if i would be better off not taking it. do i take something that is only recommended and not required, but run the risk of making a bad score? surely it’s better to not take it if i would do terribly. but then i don’t know how i would do. ah, decisions, decisions.

i have been lazy with working out lately. i just get bored at the gym, which is weird for me. i usually don’t get bored at the gym. anyway,i need to get my bike fixed so i can go riding again, because i really love doing that. and it should be a little warmer this next week, so it wouldn’t be too bad biking to school.

this weekend i have been super lazy with school, too. i don’t have my study habit for this semester yet. last night i watched emma with my mom, then some psych, and today i played sims and pokemon all day. haha :P . i picked up my lab book today to write my pre-lab, but after reading the lab i got so sleepy that i stopped. oh well.

  • brr

it is kinda cold outside! but that’s ok i guess, it just gives me more reason to nap under all my covers and drink lots of earl grey tea! and eat chili!

but really, i hope it gets warmer eventually. i was not made for winter :(

although i will admit, making snow angels is pretty fun.
especially when you don’t even have to get your whole body in the snow to do it!

oh, and one more thing. i went to the gym today, and when i put my hair up it did this.

that rather long section of hair just stood straight up. i’ve never had quite that much hair do that before. although it did give me some nice volume for my workout :P .
